Vindication of Observing Vindictiveness of Religious Obsessions

Not to make a too fine of a point of this situation, between the delusonal perspective of author Hitchens on religious observations of life and that of Dr, PIpes' perspective with his background providing a more grounded approach to the vindictive nature of Islam after centuries of demonstrating its antagonisms towards those it deems inferior, it would seem that Dr. Pipes is vindicated in his warnings, even after decades of ducking and dodging the threats; now realized.

Even as it may be assumed that Khomeini, now deceased himself, had all that vehement attitudinal rage of the ages in which Islam swarmed the regions and beyond to instill the threat of reglious superiority with death threats to those who would not submit, one can only assume that such a ferocious mind towards that ideological premise that it could not be considered passe just for the sake of time; Islam and its threat towards the infidels is fourteen hindreds years old: thirty-three years to hold a grudge is nothing.

If nothing else, and if the warnings now vindicated are recalled to emphasize that the threat is real, Mr. Rushdie should be a little more careful that a repeat attempt might still be in the offing, just as Dr. Pipes said.
