Geat Replacement Theory or Conspiracy?Reader comment on item: The Scramble for Europe Submitted by Robert (United States), Nov 5, 2022 at 23:59 David, I completely agree with Dr. Daniel Pipes. Neither I nor Dr. Pipes (as far as I know) wear a yarmulke (we are both secular Jews). However, you overlook that Zionist State was conceived by Austrian secular journalist Theodor Herzl by observing the Dreyfus Affair unfolding in France. And Napoleon put the Jews to the test if they are worthy of living in the Republic of the French as full Citizens. And a Kippah can easily be disguised by covering it with a hat - I doubt the French will pass laws regarding attire and fashions. The issue is whether religious display should be displayed in public. Perhaps Le Pen will demand that no crosses be displayed in public places such as public schools. According, a Jew (as I am one) can always move to Israel to live fully as a Jew. As Dr. Pipes correctly observes, unrestricted immigration to French from non-Europeans especially Muslims and Africans is bound to alter the French Republic of its Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity.
