Bring back shortwave radio to educate muslimsReader comment on item: Sajjilu Arab American Submitted by Prashant (India), Feb 8, 2023 at 21:22 Dear Dr Pipes, For all the freedom that the Information superhighway promised, the Internet is the easiest kind of medium for the draconian regimes to control. It is imperative for the free world to create holes in the monolithic Islamic thinking. Bringing back shortwave radio may be a solution. The good news is that almost anything that Muslims can be made to listen, will be a step in the right direction. If a shortwave radio station keeps reciting just Quran 9-5 and Quran 5-33 in a local language, all day long, that will help in revealing the truth about Islam. I suggest that subject to the availability and legality, church groups and freedom loving thinktanks should try to acquire shortwave bands in the geographic vicinity of Islamic nations.
