Islam is the biggest brainwashing mechanism that humanity has seen.Reader comment on item: Sajjilu Arab American Submitted by Prashant (India), Feb 13, 2023 at 02:41 Dear Dr Pipes, I was shocked to see that NYT called the murderer in Jerusalem 'a driver'. NYT was untouched by the fact that a 6-yr old child was killed by this murder-by-car terrorist. We are losing the propaganda war against Islam. Muslims never question the validity of their religious doctrines. They never see any validity in other religious doctrines. And, their single minded goal is spread Islam using every available means. How can 2 billion people be so sure of anything is a mystery to me. In this sense, Islam is the biggest brainwashing force on the planet. Our misfortune is that Islam is a bad force. The people who are so deeply committed to their ideology can only bring grief to others no matter how correct their ideology may be. Our liberal media has lost the ability to think. For them, if you are a religion then whatever you say or do is justified as long as you keep parroting your beliefs 24x7 and there are two billions of you. Most of our media is taken over by people who are too coward to question Islam. I feel at a loss and deeply disappointed. Muslim politician speak illogical things on Indian TV and no one questions them. A politician, for example, can go on the TV and say that Muhammad was the last prophet. There is no one amongst us to challenge these people and tell them that finality of Muhammad's prophethood is entirely an Islamic concoction and is absurd otherwise. Islamic, falsehoods, thus go unchallenged in our societies. And, we the people of the rest of the world, are too polite to incessantly repeat our beliefs as facts. Our only hope is that we resist the Islamic propaganda to the best of our abilities. We should remain aware that Islam is an existential threat to rational knowledge and thinking.
