My thoughts to the tee

Sleep beckons - how true.
I have been feeling guilty because I have ALMOST been hoping for some kind of new attack, just to wake America back up. God forbid another attack, but I want people to get scared, be afraid and alert, and to start doing some reading and self-educating about the enemy.

Thanks to the Daniel Pipes website, and conservative talk radio, Victor Mordecai and a couple of others, I feel fairly well informed about the enemy, and I take it all very seriously. Maybe I just have a morbid curiosity about things, but it is a healthy fear/curiosity that more Americans should have.

I wish President Bush had come forth and tried educating the Americans about the enemy from the start. I don't know if most people would have listened, or if the left would just have overclouded the issue with Civil Liberties issues like the ACLU does.
It's terrible, but I think most of the American public isn't even remotely aware that hostages were actually beheaded. I have a friend who is an immigrant from East India, Punjab to be exact, and I thorougly enjoy talking to him about the Islamic threat because he is from an area that has been fighting it and he understands it completely. He asks me why more Americans don't seem to "get it". He is more aware of the media being "left" than most Americans are. So come on Americans, please WAKE UP and take an interest in the threat that is looming, and is oh-too-real.
