Strategic outcomes

Many commentators have explicitly criticised the Bush Administration's lack of "strategy" in fighting the war in Iraq and terrorism in general. For me, it is difficult to believe that the Administration, and State could not have predicted this result. In my view, the Administration had its eyes wide open in the stategy formulation and implementation phases.

While it pains me, as a Muslim to see such discord, and the wanton destruction of Muslim sites, such a war will dillute the Islamists, and help ensure "real" victory for the United States and the West. Let the terrorists dilute their capacity and capabilities. They will be easier to vanquish in Iraq.

This is effective grand strategy afterall.
