What are we to believe?

Are we to believe that a few hundred Jihadists have been able stop the coalition imposing its will on 26 million Iraqis.

Are we to believe that a few hundred Jihadists have been able to bring about the lowering of coalition goals?

Are we to believe that a few hundred Jihadists have turned the world's policeman into the world sanitary cleaner?

Are we to believe that a few hundred Jihadists might have rendered future interventions by the US less likely?

Are we to believe that a few hundred Jihadists were able to prevent the creation of a "free and democratic Iraq", even though President Bush told the world how the brave Iraqi people risked their lives to go out and vote so as to show that they want a democratic Iraq ?

Are we to believe that a few hundred Jihadists are able to achieve their goal of starting a civil war and that the US cannot stop them?

Is this what you are asking us to believe... ?
