Hi Dinesh,

I thank you for your comments. I am happy to learn that you welcome questions, which is so necessary for democracy. Since, I am also from a democratic country, I thought you wouldn't mind if, on some issues, I disagree with you:

1. Firstly, I don't think you were born and brought up in the UK (as you claimed in one of your postings somewhere). I myself have been to UK and I know from your English that your first language is definitely not English. May be you're living there now, but a born British? I doubt it very much. ( For example you said your parents came to UK for 'better WAY of life'). Though my English is not any better, but I can surely differenciate between native English and 'foreign' English.

2. You said your father was an officer in the royal navy and for that reason British government gave you nationality. Why whould Her Majesty's Royal Navy recruit an Indian in the first place? Or you mean your father joined British Navy when India was a British colony? Then your father served Royal Navy before 1947! Someone who served Navy about 6 decades ago will have a very, very old son. I don't think you're that old. (I know age makes a person wiser.)

3. You said you gave half of your country to the Muslims. Thats ridiculous! The Muslims in India did not come from Saudi Arabia. Except a few Persian Muslims, most of your Muslims are the sons of the Indian soil, they're converted Muslims. So India is as much as THEIR land as it is yours. In fact, you should be grateful to Muslims, who gave a name to your religion. The term 'Hinduism' has been derived from the Persian word 'Hindu', which means 'dark'.The word was first used by Muslims for the inhabitants of the 'land beyond the Indus (Sindhu) river' . The word was never used in Indian literature or scriptures before the advent of Islam to India.
The Muslim rulers used the term 'Hindu' to mean Indian non-Muslims only. The Brahmans (the topmost ruling Hindu caste) gladly welcomed it as it brought all the non-Muslim Indians under a single umbrella and thus provided them with a rare opportunity to expand their social, religious and political influence over them in the name of religion. The British rulers maintained it with one modification. They excluded the converted Christians from those covered by the term 'Hindu'.

4. You asked me which country I am from. But will it make any difference to you? You do not consider our nationality, our education, our colour, our culture, or anything. You identify us by our religion only. And I am not unhappy for that. I am Muslim and that is my identity. Even if I was identified by my nationality, I would not have disowned my ties with my motherland by saying like you, that I only visited my country only once a year or something like that. I would have been proud of my national identity.

5. You commented somewhere that Muslims are the only people who persecute other religion. As if you did not know that Hindus do the same. You keep on blaming the Muslims so that your misdeed remains unnoticed. See for yourself how many Christians are murdered, tortured, denied of their basic human rights by Hindus. Reseach on how Hindus driven away the Buddhists monks from India. How did Buddhism spread in the south east asian regions? Thanks Hinduism, at least your persecution brought some good results in this world.

6. You asked me whether I condemn the Islamic Extremism. But will you believe me if I say yes? You will not. There are many Muslims in this board who condemned them loudly, but still you're attacking them and insulting them. So it really does not matter what I say. You are blind and deaf by fashion.

7. When I first read the comments from hindus at this site, I thought, whats the benefit the hindus will get from attacking our religion. But then I understood why. You had been ruled by your colonial masters for 200 years. You're serving the British government for generations. May be now you think that if you attack Muslims, your colonial masters will be happy. Thats why my dear friend Dinesh is echoing HIS MASTER'S VOICE.
