Justme (once more ?)Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark? Submitted by Another one (Egypt), Mar 22, 2006 at 11:17 You know this issue is becoming very annoying ,and seems to me you are trying deeply to scratch the wound, ignoring half of the facts which i provided, picking only the parts which you like to hear. What does treachery represent to you nowadays ? " your husband cheating on you ? your pet left you to find another owner who's feeding him more ! your neighbours making fun of you behind your back ?" - Yes those crimes can be very much forgivable,or at least wont condemn you to death. But "Breaking a treaty in a war "only a fool who would underestimate such a crime. ( Again, with A slower motion,Simplified edition ! ) Scroll back with me to that hard bedouin life.Where men of the tribes lives only for their honor.where promise,"treaties" are involved with a blood oath. Now betraying an ally in a war, what does it mean ? The war has been declared, all preparation has taken place,so you started executing your strategical plan depending on an ally who is having your back well covered . Now You are running out of food, weapons, supplies,Men are dying around you . Suddenly you realize that your supportive ally has abandoned you making a pact with the enemy, providing him with what he should have offered you from the first place.. More to it, he was preparing him self for opening his fortress gates to let the enemy breakthrough and willing to attack you like any" filthy rat" would do using advantage of your weakness and blind spot. Out of Allah mercy,"Ali bin Abi Talib" killes the fearsome leader of the Arab pagans "Amro bin Abd-e -Widd " in a duel, breaking the allies "jews/pagans" spirits and willing for fight,On the third day, a strong hurricane forced them coalition to retreat, and admit defeat. - If non of that would have happened ,the muslims would have been slaughtered from behind As those Jews accepted the treaty terms, they had to accept the hazards of breaking it.. (READ the terms of that treaty, AGAIN ) those tribes believed that honor, worth living for,and worth dying for... - The jews of Bani ‘Awf,Al Aws tribe,Ghatfan tribe and others who didn't break the treaty, lived peacefuly by the muslims side till the death of the prophet "unforced" to change their faith. The final treachery : And finally it was the Jews of "Khaibar"who slowly killed the prophet. They invited him to a feast" showing the well intentions", then offered the Prophet and his companion a roasted sheep they had poisoned, the prophet took a mouthful, but it was not to his liking so he spat it out, his companion "Bishr bin Al-Bara" died at once after eating. Afterwards the prophet suffered from a fever and illness spread all over his body forcing him to lay down in bed.. From " Al Raheeq Al Maktoom-The Last Expeditions chapter : "He asked that Al-Hasan and Al-Husain be brought to him. He kissed them and recommended that they be looked after. He asked to see his wives. They were brought to him. He preached them and told them to remember Allâh. Pain grew so much severe that the trace of poison he had at Khaibar came to light. It was so sore that he said to ‘Aishah: "I still feel the painful effect of that food I tasted at Khaibar. I feel as if death is approaching." [ibid 2/637] " - Still thinking they were innocent people who died for their beliefs ? - O.K , lets see what is the sentance of "Treachery"according to a militray law once used by British forces during world war II : The first section of the Treachery Act of 1940 is: "If, with intent to help the enemy, any person does, or attempts or conspires with any other person to do any act which is designed or likely to give assistance to the naval, military or air operations of the enemy, to impede such operations of His Majesty's forces, or to endanger life, he shall be guilty of felony and shall on conviction suffer death. " - So let the soldiers who went to war speak to you about you "Treachery" ! - Few Muslim countries who are practicing the"shari'a" law nowadays "merely" the followers of "Al wahabism",as the majority becoming more secular ruled by social laws. However,i confirm that only those who commits the sin, gets the brutal punishments normal decent people aren't affected of such a law.. - It disgusts me when I see people only sympathizing with the sinner, forgetting his sins. - Quraan is innocent from those who misuse it,or those who commits violence under it's cover. - Attacking religion whenever being incapable of responding to a straight question, is just lame.. - Obviously you just afraid to watch your beliefs being brought into discussion while other beliefs are ver much arguable specially that "worthless"religion known as "Islam"..Wrong if you thought so,i wont allow it .
