Saudi Arabia is the antithesis of America

There is no society more opposite to what America stands for than Saudi Arabia today. Here is a society ruled by an absolute monarchy of the variety that hasn't been seen in the west since LouisI XIV or Czar Nicholas of Russia. Worse here is a society that all but imprisons half of its adults (the females), allows slavery (in violation of the UN charter), and forbids any other religion from being practiced within its borders. Add to that no free speech, press,assembly,privacy etc etc.

Without a doubt this is the most repressive regime on earth today except for maybe North Korea and Cuba. Yet we hear daily from our Governement how this regime is our steadfast ally? It might have been missed by the Bush administration that 15 of the hijackers who KILLED 3000+ innocents on Sept. 11th were Saudi citizens, but it wasn't lost on the rest of us.

You'd have thought that a week after this calamity Pres. Bush would have been calling on the Saudi King and Crown Prince to explain why his citizens were waging a terror war against us, their steadfast allies?

Instead, our Pres. invites Prince Abdullah to his ranch for a hugfest. Does the Clown prince offer his apologies to the families of the dead and injured and to the American public?? NO !!! But Pres. Bush et al. once again seem to miss these obvious over sights by his Holier then thou guests and goes right on kissing and hugging these villians.

It makes one wonder whose side he and his administration are on in this so called war on terror? Or is this war on a terror just a way to deflect attention from our true enemies Wahabbi Islam and all its various radical variations out here being financed by the Royals in Saudi Arabia.
