Real Proof of the Pipes' Thesis Explicated in "Democrats, Republicans and Israel"

Reader comment on item: Democrats, Republicans, and Israel

Submitted by S. Avigdor (United States), May 26, 2006 at 12:30

The attached vote tally is a remarkably timely illustration of Prof. Daniel Pipes thesis that the Democratic Party is incrementally moving into the roll as the major political movement less sympathetic to Israel and Jews. The relatively few negative votes in favor, in effect, of funding Hamas came disproportionately from Democrats representing radical left and heavily Muslim districts.
