Three cheers for Nigerian Christians!Reader comment on item: Christian Hajjis to Jerusalem Submitted by concerned (Italy), Jul 16, 2006 at 05:21 After having just read the above article, all I can say is three cheers for Nigerian Christian belevers going to Jerusalem on pilgrimage! It's something I've always wanted to do, but have lacked the courage due to fears about violence and terrorism there, as well as throughout the Middle East. The Jewish and Christian people will always have a close relationship with each other due to the Biblical background of both faiths which is rooted in the idea of one God. Since most of the events of the Bible took place in modern Israel, especially Jerusalem, it's only right and proper that ALL Christians support Israel and the Jewish people, especially Jerusalem as ISRAEL'S capital, not the capital city of a bogus Palestinian state! Thanks Nigerian Christians for having showed all Christians how to think and act. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
