Ok!! Lets start with what your first comment was. The internet is a good reference book(To who?...) don't get me wrong the internet has many resources for all. but just like man, the internet also gives false information. I mean depending on what site you go too, it can be bias, racsist,anti-muslim or christian. It doesnt matter the fact is if you really want to know the truth about islam. You have to do more searching then the internet.

First you have to be a person with an open mind to understand any religion. After all religion is based on believing and having faith in the unseen. All faiths have this in common. With islam you have a religion with one purpose to do as G-d will. Within that religion are also people who have their own interuption of what the faith is about. Therefore causing riots,murders,suicide attacks etc. You also have ones who believe in solving problems without outsiders help and who would welcome terror to fight the outsiders, then fight among themselves after the foreigners are gone. And there are muslims who want to live in peace with all respectful faith of G-d.

Now in saying this...there is nothing different with this then the christian and jewish faiths. All religion has good and bad people. Religion is sent from G-d to help mankind continue it essence according to the word as G-d ordered. But from what i see mankind has gotten completey lost jews,christians and muslims. The only true jews,christian and muslims are the truely rightous and only G-d knows that. So my advice to you will be go to a good islamic site and see for yourself from the otherside what islam is about .

And as far as the treatment of women. I am born and rasied in the west so i have no problem with the female. But what i do know is that in the west many people who dont understand islam like to bring that up. But here in american women just started to get equal rights after world war 2...when all the men was sent to war the country had noone to work in the factories and keep up the economy. Then and only then did women become an asset to amercians. Just another example of the pan calling the kettle black.

As i said before islam is coming into a new era as the younger of the two. Judisim and christian went through it also. This situation we have with muslim is not islam ...its the human race. Muslims fighting muslims look at lebonon..the muslim population donot like whta!!!haszballah but they will side with them if the israeli army attack....see and once israel withdraw then the lebanon army will fight hasballah. May G-d have mercy on the world because right now no one can tell who's good or bad.
