ABK, The Palestinian Arabs Were Given An Opportunity To Have Their Own Land, JordanReader comment on item: New York Sun Columnist Weighs in on Creation of State of Israel Submitted by AnneM (United States), Jul 23, 2006 at 11:17 At the time when the UN partitioned the two land areas to create Israel and Jordan, the latter was formed to take in the displaced Palestinian Arabs. Isreal was simply recreated to allow the Jewish people to come home to their rightful land. The Israelis were simply taking back what was theirs to begin with. If the Palestinian Arabs simply took the opportunity offered to them to go to Jordan, how much bloodshed would have been prevented. Remember the nation of Lebanon belonged to the Lebanesse Maronite Christians. The Arab nations used the Palestinian Arabs as pawns to go to war against Isreal simply because Israel was defending the homeland they simply took back. It is time for the Arabs and other Muslims to begin to accept the reality that Isreal is here to stay, never going to go away, to leave the Jewish homeland, and to be at peace. To continue this needless bloodshed, first by organized Arab nation armies, and now with terror groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah, creates not only new tensions for the Middle East and the rest of the world, but defeats the real purpose of peace.
