Vande Mataram, End of Islamic Jihad!

You can't see the import of this event but it is as cataclysmic in the long run as a single jihadi beheading! For one thing, it is high profile, for another, it is a public event, a death-defying act that more and more will brave from now on.

Furthermore, it also pronounces the fundamental truth, that so long as there is music, song, dance and poetry in the human spirit, the radical, rigid Koranic interpretation of Islam will not gain a hold at the mass level. It can only terrorise, kill and maim, but it cannot win the heart or the spirit! No matter how much zakat you collect by force and falsehood, no matter how many fossil fuels you command (and all you can do with the latter is use the threat to blow it all up and the earth along with it), this road only leads to impoverishment. This is why, Islam can never rule the earth!

--Also why its days are numbered, in the face of collective resolve of majority non-Muslims. Even those who are converting out of free will, will turn back once they understand the extent to which free will is blocked in Islam! (Yes, they can, and they will). They may even lead the charge back to human values in the end. In the meanwhile, you are welcome to take in as many of the psychopaths and malcontents as you like. But remember, those who come to Islam with love in their hearts, will turn away soon as they discover that there is no Love in Islam!

Yes, many among the new Muslims are in denial, subject to the Stockholm syndrome, especially the women converts, since to rebel against jihad is inviting torture and death! But it takes just one major crisis for the shackles to disintegrate, and sooner or later, they will escape, once it is known that there is life after Islam!

Those who peddle miracles to gain converts to Islam, cannot belong to the Talibani mindset, by definition, or they will soon turn away the recruits. Lies cannot fool all the people all the time, especially in the face of vigilance by the non-muslims!

Also remember, how Islamists massacred the Sufis down the ages -- those who sang and danced in the light of the universal spirit and love! Those who currently come to Islam with love, if they are honest, will also serve to defeat the Koranic wave of violence and terror, and they are welcome to do so!

For the Hindis, including Bollywood, they are winning the world with their song and dance routine, in Kabul, in Londonistan, in Penang and Karachi, earning the ire of the Talibanis, who know they cannot win against the message of love between communities, even when portrayed at the personal level of ishq-vishq, pyaar-mohabbat! You ban music, and it goes underground, only to gain strength and to overwhelm the spirit, in rebellion against narrow and rigid definitions of human existence! How can the Islamofascists hope to rule the world that is open, creative, flexible, inventive and also determined to protect its free way of life, refusing the false security of slavery to a despotic interpretation of religion? Can you eat this theology, or nurture children to the genuine good life free from hatred, as it rules in Islamist countries today?

Look around you, and notice the pathetic constricted lives of its subjects, wherever they cling to the outworn tribal dictat of wahhabism and even other relatively rigid forms of Islam! Mughal emperor Akbar of mideaval India banned the hajj, and during the period of his rule and some years beyond, there was not a single pilgrim to Mecca from all of India (1586-1605), until the fanatic last Mughal ruler Aurangzeb reinstituted oppressive Islam in its full destructive potential! But Akbar believed that Indian Muslims (at a time when India was also Pakistan, Bangladesh and a portion of eastern Afghanistan) could do without the hajj and all its corrupting tribal Arab influence that served to undermine their loyalty to India! He was a visionary patron of arts, and the Indianness of Muslims flourished during his rule, including Sufism, Urdu, and so on, with authentic harmony between different religions.

After his death, of course, the older jihadi tradition of father killing son, brother killing brother, or son incarcerating father gradually seeped back to full strength under Aurangzeb. That was when Hindus and Sikhs fought back with firm resolve to reassert their rule over major portions of India and forever stopped the hateful tide of Islamisation of India in its tracks!

Unknown to you, there is a swell of Muslim opinion against jihad, and also in favour of the moderate, personal Islam, although this is expressed in private at the moment. This is how even the Mother of Taliban, the Dar-ul-Uloom of Deoband has retracted its fatwa against singing the Indian national song in its 100^th year! The cry of Vande Mataram (Sanskrit, for I bow to the Motherland) had served to rally millions of Indian men and women to fight the oppressive British regime, and deserved to be chosen as the National Anthem, but for Muslim political cussedness – using the specious excuse that in Islam saluting the motherland was considered haram, since one could only bow before God!!! Even then, Gandhi-Nehru had consulted Nobel Laureate poet, Rabindranath Tagore, to shorten the song to its first two stanzas only, which in his opinion, could not offend any religious sensibilities! But finally in appeasement, they chose another song in appeasement to theological rigidity of the Muslims who had stayed back in India after the partition! Muslim rejection of the most inspiring national song continued for six decades in genuflection to vote bank politics; but it cannot be maintained any longer during its centenary celebrations, precisely because they cannot be seen to be aligned with the rigidities and violence of Islamofascist terrorism around the world!!!

You may choose to ignore the portents in your faith in the Islamic bomb and the jihadi population bomb, but the writing is on the wall. You can no longer fool free democratic societies, including liberal and democratic moderate Muslims, for whom fundamentalist Islam is now a matter temporary truce, before its full public rejection becomes a reality, as it will!
