I don't want to sound stupid......BUT----I met Mr. Shoebat today..

... I spoke with him, and listened to him speak of his love, not only for Jews but for Palestinians, Islamists, and lost people located an various different nations!

To reply to your message about his being in fear for his life....I asked him about that. I asked him about living in hiding and having bodyguards. In speaking with him, it's apparent that he is not "Afraid to lose his life." He even ended his message with scripture from 2 Samuel 14:45....."You come to take my life with your sword, but I come to you in the name of The Almighty God, Lord of hosts, whom you have defiled." THAT was his answer to the people looking to slay him with their swords and behead him in the name of Allah! Not...hatred. Truth.

I have no hatred for ANY person who walks the face of this planet, and some of my own interactions may with them warrant some. However, the message and heart of Walid Shoebat led me to a heart more softened to the fact that many of these unbelievers need prayer and to know that God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob LOVES them! The things that Walid Shoebat spoke of were issues I didn't even KNOW existed....and they disgusted me in a way that may me shudder in horror....I fear my life too, and I am not a former Muslim Terrorist, but an infidel.

To state that people who already hate Muslims are the ones cheering him on are ignorant statements---I did not cheer on his message, as it left me sick and sad. My only thought was that I wished that Muslims would abandon their hatred...for whoever...and find salvation in a life of LOVE! I wished that Mr. Shoebat were lying to me, because then countless people would be safer than they are, and have the ability to occupy their own land!

I may not be as "up" on the political and critical issues happening in the Middle East as you are, but I feel I fall in with the majority of the Americans that take any sort of stance on this sort of issue. I was ignorant to the hatred for Jews in the Muslim nations! Children songs about heads rolling off, and bones being sharpened into the makings of bombs! CHILDREN'S SONGS! I

had no real stance on any issue...only the knowledge that that area of the world is at war. I am not defending Walid Shoebat here....I am defending the Truth of God. Whether Walid is a real former terrorist, or a phony....Paul even stated, "whatever the intentions, as long as the Truth is preached, what harm?" Nothing that this man that you call phony stated today was incorrect about the terror and hatred in the Islamic faith. And yet he challenged each in the congregation to PRAY for not only the Jews, but the Muslims as well!

I guess I would give you some advice.....talk to a person before you judge his intentions. Read a book writted by his own hand (I'd suggest "Why I left Jihad; From Hate to Love" It's good, I'm already 3 chapters in and I just bought it today!) before assuming that he is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Truth be told, but for the grace of God, there goes all of us (Lives full of hatred....isn't that what you are living, Mr. Jhubers?)! Walid challenged me to have a stronger knowledge of what I believe, and deeper faith in what God can do, and a softer heart in "who" God can change! His message was convicting, and awe inspiring. And I praise God that his life in hiding is keeping him safe so that he may still have time to preach a message of love to ALL people! Remember that even Jesus fled into hiding so that His timing to go to the cross would not be hastened! God is working in this man's life, and the lives he touches! I fear what convoluted Lie you are believing, because my dear, the only thing this man preached was the Truth.
