If you are referring to Islam, allow me to correct your statement for you. Islam is a peaceful religion as the words Islam or Muslim, they both come from Salam which means peace. Calling some people who claim that they are Muslims violent won't concern me at all, because there are a lot of people out there who think they belong to the Islamic faith, but their behaviors are far from the true Muslim manners.
