Non SenseReader comment on item: El Al, "Goy" Airline? Submitted by Ynna (Tchkah) (United States), Dec 19, 2006 at 21:48 I simply do not understand the equation, for what it probably will not become an equation...It is sick itself... When it comes to receive money from Jews, if you go to a Haredi neighborhood, for example in Boro Park, nobody ever asks, whether or not you keep the Shabess. When it comes to post an order on Line in a religious Web Site, On line on Shabess, the order is processed in the same way, as if nothing happened, their argument:"...Each Jew knows very well what is right and wrong, so we cannot take responsibility for others' action".... If you go to an Orthodox synagogue, not NK, unless as the time goes by you become religious like them, under an implicit disdain you start being treated by some of them, a process that can be very well camouflaged if you donate a lot, and blindly support their efforts, for what: "...he/She does not do what the G-d of Israel asks her/him to do, but every Jew has its function in this world... Perhaps, to support finnacially our work, is what all his/her function is about !!! When you go to a Haredi neighborhood in Israel, for example, the outrageous chutzpanit community of Naturei Karta the same that support Iran, they do not show their status as Naturei Karta, meaning that for people, people, but "Guishefts (Businesses), a part"... I already wrote them several times to place their status as Naturei Karta, so next time I go to buy religious things, I'll boycott them- Their reply"..You discriminate others".... So, the bottom line is:"... Can somebody explain the psychology behind the exposed panorama above?... Perhaps, even perhaps, if El Al decides to share their profits plus with the religious community then they will NOT cause problems, supporting with their silence El Al flights on Saturday, by saying:"..Every Jews knows very well what is right and what is wrong, so since they are over 18, we cannot take responsibility for others actions"....That's a good solution- why not try it? Whether the solution lies in financial matters or religious matters, fact is that the observant won't have alternative, recalling that by flying with a "goy" airline, their risk of being disrespected or even attacked increases considerably, in this so hostile world against all Jews and Israel supporters.
