Daniel Pipes appointment to the U.S. Institute of PeaceReader comment on item: Where's the Muslim Debate? Submitted by Carol Cassady (United States), Jun 6, 2003 at 02:17 I am amazed and intrigued by the article of "Where's the Muslim Debate?" by Hussain Haqqani.America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. Where in the Muslim countries is there anything comparable to their establishing, e.g., an Institute of Peace for Jews and Christians? Name a Muslim country which allows Jews and Christians WHAT MUSLIMS ARE ALLOWED IN THE U.S.A? Muslims need to respect America's Judeo-Christian culture or return to their own native land. As a proud second generation American, I am truly sick and tired of the new immigrants to America who don't respect nor want to abide by our American Judeo-Christian culture. My grandparents certainly did. As immigrants from one of the evil empires assaulting the world during WW II, they gladly sent all their sons to defend America against their native land. As for those American newspapers who are clearly intent on sabotaging our American culture, the PUBLIC knows--this fact is out of the box! The New York Times scandal has revealed the media's lies, their HOAX OF DECEIT, the propagandizing of the NEWS! Their advertisers and readers need to CANCEL all these harbingers of treason! What a scurrilous, pompous article by Hussain Haqqani. Mr. Pipes, as a patriotic American scholar, does believe and uphold our American Judeo-Christian culture. This, above all else, is/should be the abiding qualification for his appointment to the USIP.
