Two Palestinians

I just listened to Ehud Olmert and President Bush giving a news conference concerning Hamas And Fatah. I continue to be dumbfounded by continued talking points that emniate from this White House that somehow this is a good thing that peace will be attained and a two state solution is still attainable!

President Bush continues to talk as though Democracy is the answer to all the problems in the middle east. When in fact The Arabs have proven just the opposite if anything, democracy to the Arab is like night is to day. They never will meet, T.E. Lawrence tried after the first world war and it was a dismal failure.

The only thing that has driven the Arab world has been tribalism and corruption. And now we see that once again islamic fanatism has taken over in the name of nationalism. The only thing that unites these fanatics is the total destruction of Israel. Otherwise they would gladly kill one another to get dominance over the other. Lastly the palestinians once again proved this in Gaza they had the opportunity after Israel withdrew to make a modal of what the Arabs could do, and once again they proved that they are unable or unwilling to move into the 21st century.
