Cultural strategiesReader comment on item: Suicide Reversal? Polling the Muslim world Submitted by David W. Lincoln (Canada), Jul 27, 2007 at 10:47 I am not surprised to see support for bombings declining in the House of Islam. After all, the effect of being viewed as suspicious barbarians and brigands would dampen enthusiasm for that avenue to achieve their goal: Muslims at the front of the bus, and a caste system for those who do not accept that there is anything to aspire to in what stormed out of the Arabian Peninsula 1400 years ago. For, under "moderate islam", we see campaigns against Christians (and those of other faith traditions) which pick up where the Nazis left off in their campaign against Bonhoeffer. Not to mention as well as where the Kremlin left off in its campaign against those who have resisted its efforts to be swallowed up by it; or the Beijing Politburo's campaign against those who will not be subverted by it.
