Islam is radical in its natureReader comment on item: Preface Submitted by Elpi Nipi (United States), Nov 25, 2007 at 06:32 Dear Dr. Pipes, i contend that are no moderate Muslims, unless they extract and distance themselves from Islam like Ibn Warrack did and only few others did. All Muslims are radical for one reason only: they revere the person of Muhammad! Those Muslims who claim to be Moderate still see Muhammad as a role model for a Muslim and the Qur'an is the word of G-d. As long as this is the case then they are all extremist. I agree with the lady Delcambre that there is no difference between Islam and Islamism. All Muslims, ALL Muslims are in different stages of dormancy (even the supposed "Muslim against Shari'a) and all of them has the potential to turn to extreme violence. Islam is the mother of all Fascist Ideologies and the sooner we recognize as a civilization the more chance we will have to survive against it!!!
