Just because you're Islamophobic, doesn't mean that Islamics are not out to get you!

Reader comment on item: A CAIR Miscellany

The recent trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF): a Muslim "charity" charged with 197 counts of funding terrorism, prompted Parvez Ahmed, to accuse our government of "using a fear campaign to smear the HLF " and wasting our tax monies "to counter nonexistent Muslim conspiracies to overthrow the American Constitution and impose Shariah laws."

A mistrial was declared in the HLF case after the jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict on all counts. Ahmed calls it a victory for truth and vindication of the HLF. But Ahmad makes it sound like the HLF was acquitted and our government had gone on a witch hunt.

Any time anyone investigates their ties between Muslim charities and radical Islamic groups, CAIR's leaders go on the offensive, crying "Islamophobia," and threatening lawsuits against those who questions their activities.

Recently, CAIR sued Andrew Whitehead for posting six accusations about CAIR on its website, www.Anti-CAIR-net.org. In March 2006, shortly before a court hearing in which CAIR might have to disclose financial data, answer questions about its relationship with Hamas, and provide information regarding its leaders' activities and intentions, CAIR immediately settled the case with prejudice. Thus, CAIR no longer disputes Whitehead's accusations that it "actively supports" terrorists and advocates the overthrow of the U.S. Constitution in favor of Islamic law.

Columnist Cal Thomas knows how CAIR and the HLF work. In his article about the HLF trial, ("The Un-Holy Foundation," 10/25/07), Cal warns Americans to be wary of their deceptive tactics and to realize that our country is under attack from an enemy we are too blind to see:

Anyone in doubt about the game plan for infliltrating, undermining and attacking America from within our borders had better sober up. Our enemies know our ways and they are using them to gain a strategic advantage over us.

Perhaps, Andrew Whitehead said it best:

It's bad enough that CAIR has appointed itself unofficial censor of debate about Islam. Equally galling is that the group routinely engages in the kind of sleazy defamation it so righteously claims to detest.

CAIR successfully uses the media and the legal system to divert America's attention away from their illegal actions, such as publishing
bogus reports about hate crimes against Muslims and calling any action taken to stop the funding of Muslim terror groups as "Islamopobia." What CAIR does care about most is spreading radical Islam here in America and in funding terrorism abroad rather than protecting the rights of all Muslims in this country.

BTW, TheReligionofPeace.com website pointed out that "of the more than 3,100 fatal Islamic terror attacks committed in the last four years,
CAIR has specifically condemned only 18." That's a bit, more disparate than at last count.

I had a chance to read through Lisa Gardner's account of Ahmad's infamous speech to Muslims in Fremont, CA, and besides the remarks about Islam being dominant and the Koran, the sole authority in America, there are a few other things that really stick in my craw.

Like telling Muslims to keep to themselves and not to assimilate into American society. But, to me, the most egregious comment was urging Muslims not to shirk their duty of sharing the Islamic faith with those who are "on the wrong side."

"Wrong side?" Like those who value freedom of religion and human rights? I guess that's what he meant when he spoke against people trying to impose values onto Islam.

OK. So, now, Muslims now have two duties: (1) to proselytize Islam in America, and (2) to murder anyone who proselytizes American religions in Muslim countries.

Finally, when he says, "...you have a responsibility to deliver the message of Islam," is he referring to the "Convert or Die" message that Islamics delivered in Indonesia, Somalia, Sudan, India, and so on?

If we have "Islamophobia," then he has "Non-Islamophobia."

Why does an organization like CAIR (Council for American-Islamic Relations), who claims to protect the welfare of other Muslims, do all they can to thwart any discussion of Islamic terrorism whose primary victims are overwhelmingly other Muslims?

First of all, Parvez Ahmed would have us believe that we invented the word, "Islamic terrorism." He condescendingly dismisses the comments of American political and religious leaders claiming that "radical Islam," "militant Islam," "Islamism," and "Islamofascism" are nothing more than their misguided references to Islam itself.

Crying "Islamophobia," he bashes the Bush Administration, the State Department, and key members of the Evangelical Christian community for their "belligerent viewpoints." Does he wants us to be nice with the people who chant, "Death to America?"

I understand his frustration given that CAIR is also one of those accused of funding terrorism – specifically Hamas. Whoever is really funding these barbaric terrorists would do and say anything to hide their illegal activities, wouldn't they?

Here's a timely quote from an article I found ("Al Taqiyya: The Islamist Terrorist Weapon of Deception.") that explains why Islamic organizations like CAIR and the HFL resort to using lies and deception when asked about their activities:

...The recognized religious duty of faithful Muslims to practice taqiyya makes the actions, statements and testimony of those who operate organizations such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the now defunct Holy Land Foundation and individual Islamic leaders such as Sami al-Arian (now deported for his relationship with Palestinian Islamic Jihad) both understandable and suspect. Understandable in there unwavering defense of almost every act committed by a Muslim regardless of its legality and suspect because of the fact that they would be violating taqiyya should they validate the "infidel" over another Muslim.

Remember that. It ain't lying, it's just taqiyya

I once heard a CAIR spokesman say that "Just like Christians and Jews, Muslims also follow the Ten Commandments." Sure they do...and just like the Miami Dolphins, their record is 0 for 10.
