Should I laugh or cry.Reader comment on item: A CAIR Miscellany Submitted by Kurt Basking (United States), Feb 23, 2010 at 03:37 Dear Dr Pipes: When I read "A CAIR Miscellany", I did not know whether to laugh or cry. I wanted to laugh because CAIR's stands are so ludicrous and devoid of principles that I can only laugh of them. I wanted to cry because it breaks my heart that an organization as selfish and hypocritical as CAIR can exist without reprimand. First, CAIR's statement that OBL is not a muslim. Of course, until an Islamist kills, he is a good brother. As soon as he kills he is not a muslim. So CAIR wins both ways. Then, CAIR's drawing of a parallel between American Indians and islamists. Two contiinents occupied by American Indians got virtually emptied of them. And rather than bombing buildings and involving themselves in unwritable acts of violence, American Indians are living in remote reservations. Sure there is a parallel CAIR. There sure is. Then, Awad states on national television that there is no Islamic terrorism. Awad perhaps follows the Gandhinian principle of not seeing any bad. Or else he could have counted that just the number of Shias and Sunnis killing eachother is more than all other religious killings combined. I also recall that Yasser Arafat used to dress and act like Dalai Lama. Then, a representative of CAIR calls terrorism a form of organized crime. Of course, who can miss the close resemblance between the Chicago drug dealers and the Taleban. Chicago drug dealers want to create a secular mafia government in every country of the world. So do the Talebans. Why didn't I see it until CAIR explained it to me?
