Christianity, as put forth in the Gospels, the philosophy of life put forth by Jesus, has never been through a reformation; however, the human effort to represent Jesus' philosophy here on earth, the Christian (Catholic) Church did experience a reformation movement — for better or for worse. Christianity, as demonstrated by Jesus, needs no reformation.

Islam, as put forth in the koran, the philosophy of life put forth by allah thru his prophet mohammad, has also never experienced a reformation; indeed, it is impossible to reform some so basically evil. It is not a question of a "good" thing used "badly" as was Christianity; it is a question of a "bad" thing used exactly as it was designed to be used. Evil is as evil does. You cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. ...
