Abu Sway at FauReader comment on item: Hamas in Florida Classroom Submitted by L. Kirsch (United States), Jan 27, 2004 at 16:30 The following message was sent to the President of FAU. LLS is the adult education division at FAU.Subject: Dr. Abu Sway To: skane@fau.edu cc: steve@sulaw.net Reference Daniel Pipes' articles on Dr. Abu Sway. I am attending a class given by Dr. Sway at LLS. In this class he has said: "I don't recognize the state of Israel as a legitimate state". This is an exact quote! His views are very clear. When he says that he welcomes a Jewish presence he means a Jewish presence in an Islamic Palestine. This extremist view is not going to produce peace in the middle east. You may welcome an extremist view in your college but at least you need to understand what he represents. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
