Same old mistakesReader comment on item: A Final Reply to Yoram Schweitzer Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), Aug 4, 2008 at 09:11 It is a shame to our country that we have ever caved in to appeasement. The article "Kuwait's Terrorism Policy Sets an Example" (1986) is one point.; the other article which concerns the "lopsided deal" (DanielPipes.org, Feb. 3, 2004 Hezbollahs's Victory, Israel's Decline) not only shows that appeasement doesn't promote peace, but indicates that Daniel Pipes has always voiced his opinions, that we are free to express not only opinions but facts, and that Dr. Pipes is only saying what most aware people are thinking, but are not making known publicly. Since all is fair in love and war, then it is fair to criticise Israel when criticism is needed----Israel should not be given special dispensation over any other country. Kudos to Daniel Pipes for standing firm against appeasement and for not caving in to the critics who would silence him.
