Sound bite not so bad

Pipes' well-articulated reasoning is not by any stretch a "sound bite" or "byte". Perhaps Schweitzer's position is indeed only bite-sized, and his understanding of Pipes' is simply a matter of projection. In any case, a "sound byte" is better than an unsound one, and I've no question whose bit, bite, or byte, is of which type.
