How many need to Die- Response to MarwanReader comment on item: If Not [Arab-Israeli] Peace Now, What? Submitted by Anne (United States), Oct 10, 2008 at 19:24 The situation between the two states is a difficult one. There really are not many solutions, other than building a wall between the two states, because the attacks on Israel come after there is an agreement reached, time and time again. I honestly believe there are many Palestinians who would genuinely live in peace with Israel, but Hamas will never allow it. There is so much hatred on the part of Arabs, just because the other nation is Jewish, they are trained from childhood to kill Jews. I actually read Walid Shoebat's book Why I left Jihad. He did a fantastic job of explaining Islam, Jihad, Mohammed, and the Koran. If anyone reads Shoebat's book who now says he loves Israel, and the Jewish people, you may look at this whole Palestinian-Israeli situation in a different light. I have never read a book, so moving. He said a Jewish man saved his father's life, and described the unfair attacks and killings of Jews. There are so many people who would love for there to be peace for both sides, and to live in peace, and prosperity. It is so frustrating that you cannot talk or reason with the radicals in Islam. I know many educated wonderful Muslims, with businesses, and wonderful jobs, as doctors, lawyers, CPAs restaurant owners, butchers. They are happy and at peace in America where they have the freedom to live their lives, be happy and prosper, I speak the absolute truth, because I have talked to many of them first hand. They are wonderful people. America is not the evil society as described by radical muslims. We want peace, freedom, fairness, and properity for all peoples of this world!
