The Righteous Branch - Yeshua HaMashiach

But there is a question that begs clarification, for in the Jeremiah reference you provide about the Branch, the true reading points to HaMashiach, which, in true unbelieving fashion, is misdirected by you when you say that it is David, just like many will incorrectly say that Isaiah was fulfilled in the Israeli King Hezekiah.

Jeremiah is pointing to HaMashiach when he refers to the Branch; we read further about the Branch in Zechariah 3:8 "Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they [are] men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH."

And here, Zechariah 6:12 "And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name [is] The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:"

All of these references to the Branch come after David's time. Look in the Brit Hadassah for Yeshua HaMashiach confirming this, as we read in the Gospel of Mark 12:35, 36;

And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the son of David? For David himself said by the Holy Spirit, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thy enemies thy footstool.

Now since David preceded Jeremiah by just a few (hundred) years, how then, by your reckoning, can Jeremiah's, or Zechariah's, words of prophecy be fulfilled in David, considering that they both point to scriptural fulfillment in the son of David, Yeshua HaMashiach.

You see, the Quran cannot answer that. Only in the true understanding of who Yeshua HaMashiach is by faith, as found in the Holy Bible, can that really be answered.
