Pat Goudey OBrien's commentary regarding to Dr. Pipes' article.Reader comment on item: Harold Koh, Promoter of Shari'a? Submitted by Ynnatchkah Malinka Maya. (United States), Apr 1, 2009 at 01:54 Dear Sir- Good morning. In "contrapuntus" to your opinion, in my view, what Dr. Pipes provided constitute enough reference to go after further available information. Koh is a contemporary/new issue.Dr. Pipes uses the term sketch very wisely. I did not know Koh to this very day, yet I thank Dr. Pipe's efforts towards alarming us- in advance- about this nomination, which btw, with the help of G-d and wisdom of the system, will not take place. The corroboration of the process will not occur- it is destined to fade in one or another way. Dr. Pipes is NOT vilifying, rather he is opening others mind towards visible sign of danger through something called PATTERNS. There are Patterns, Obvious Patterns. Patterns/ Clusters/ Impressions of danger. And, myself by tracking Koh over the Web, I have found that the above cited "third parties" analyses are pretty euphemistic- when the big picture is seen- thus nullifying the factor vilification- as you pointed out. ...Please, respect other's views. Again, I thank Dr. Pipes for the article- it was an eye opening, and a new issue to be worked on. The introduction to the matter is excellent, and for the time being more than enough. As it says in my culture (I guess you, as a wise human being already realized through my "poor" English we do not hold the same mother tongue- I guess you got it- you are very inteligent...): "…For a wise mind, half word is (more than) enough"… Very Respectfully, Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
