A strange view of progress you haveReader comment on item: Jerusalem Falls to British, "Great Rejoicing in the Christian World" Submitted by Paul, England. (United Kingdom), Apr 1, 2009 at 11:45 You say the West has travelled so far in less than a century and therefore raise the question that muslims might do the same. I was staggered to read you make such a comment. You really see where the West was then as seen in this newspaper report to where the West is now as progress???!!! Do you really equate the "self-conscious Christian World" as you put it of then with where Jihadi muslims are now? ... Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. If Muslims also abandoned this mentality, you would agree with me. That they have not makes you wish Christians were back to where they were a century ago. << Previous Comment Next Comment >> Reader comments (32) on this item |
