BalfourReader comment on item: Jerusalem Falls to British, "Great Rejoicing in the Christian World" Submitted by BertE (United States), Dec 19, 2009 at 10:21 "In order for people in the region to come to some sort of understanding, these historical facts need to be laid bare." I might not be totally correct about this, but the man who actually took pen to paper and wrote the Balfour Declaration was Leopold Amery. A man who was a secret Jew, professing Christianity but all the while still inside a Jew. Does that change the perspective or what? Leopold during WW2 served in the cabinet of Churchill and had a son, John Amery, who was a Nazi collaborator and hung in the aftermath of the war. C'est la guerre.
