Our dear Emad: Is it true that your prophet expeled the Jews and Christians from al-Hijaz? So much for Islamic tolerance

So our dear Emad care to comment on the following?

1. ما رواه مسلم في صحيحه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أوصى بإخراج اليهود والنصارى من الجزيرة،

This can be rendered as: What was narrated by Muslim in his Sahih that the prophet may Allah pray upon him and salute ordered that the Jews and Christians to be expelled from the Island (Arabia)

So much for tolerance

2. ما رواه البخاري ومسلم أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: أمرت أن أقاتل الناس، حتى يشهدوا أن لا إله إلا الله، وأن محمداً رسول الله، ويقيموا الصلاة، ويؤتوا الزكاة، فإذا فعلوا ذلك عصموا مني دماءهم وأموالهم

This can be rendered as: Narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim that the prophet may Allah pray upon him and salute said: I was ordered to fight the people until they testify that there no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger and they pray and pay the alms and if they do that their blood and their money is protected from me
