Common sense is what should prevail hereReader comment on item: Institutions Push Back Against Head Coverings Submitted by Sunil Sarang (United States), Apr 7, 2009 at 01:45 People have given up on common sense here. If you are so scared of men, you should not leave your home. And also,if men are so bad why should women be punished for it. Niqab in today's society makes no sense. If your religion and/or your relationship with your God takes so much of your attention that it makes the rest of your life dysfunctional, then your religion has failed to serve its purpose. Also, your readers will like to read about this decision by India's supreme court (http://epaper.timesofindia.com/Repository/ml.asp?Ref=Q0FQLzIwMDkvMDMvMzEjQXIwMTMwMA). Though India's politicians and courts are not known for the courage, in this case the judge told a Muslim highschooler to shave his beard if it violated the school policy.
