compliantReader comment on item: Institutions Push Back Against Head Coverings Submitted by donvan (United States), Apr 13, 2009 at 11:08 Mental health workers use "Compliance" as a measure of mental health. If one is willing to comply with the rules, laws and regulations, then that person can be helped, noncompliance of aforementioned conditions leads one to believe that the individual will not accept help even if available. So it is with Mu'slams who willfully refuse to comply with social norms. This speaks to the unhealthy mental stress that the internalization of the Mu'slam mythologies have on the individual insofar as the belief system is largely based on noncompliance of the "Mu'slam" in non Mu'slam social settings. This also applies to Jews, Christians, and Hindus, etc. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
