On 'A Slick Islamist Heads to Jail'Reader comment on item: [Abdurahman Alamoudi: A] Slick Islamist Heads to Jail Submitted by Gregory Greenberg (United States), Aug 4, 2004 at 12:57 Dear Dr. Pipes,Thanks a lot for revealing in this brilliant report where we were, and to a large extend are, in terms of knowing our worst enemies. Nobody else, in my knowledge at least, so vividly connected the dots, exposing how recently White House occupants hugged the people who now finally landed where they must be long time ago – in jail. If this is naïveté based on bad job of intelligence - this is a reason for punishment of those who were and still are responsible for information. But I suspect that mostly this happened with open eyes for big political mistake – attempt to pacify and please political wing of Muslim terror body the same way as it happened in cases of IRA and Palestinian terror bodies. With great respect, Gregory Greenberg Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
