Alamoudi & other IslamistsReader comment on item: [Abdurahman Alamoudi: A] Slick Islamist Heads to Jail Submitted by Mikhail Shafik (United States), Aug 4, 2004 at 13:22 No doubt there exisit a great number of Moslems in this country that should be watched and carefully examined as part of homeland security efforts to locate terrorist cells, monitor their activities, and foil possible terrorist attacks on Americans. Outside appearance, in many cases, are very deceiving, such as the case with Mr. Alamoudi. I am in the believe that most Mosques and madrassas in the US are here for teaching hatred among other harmful things and therefore must be stealthily watched. The US government should tap its citizens of non Moslem Middle Eastern extraction , specially those who migrated for religious persecution purposes, to assist in tracking terrorists and providing information based on their understanding of the Moslem mentality. They speak the language, they can not be distingushed from other middle Easterners, they are grateful for the freedom they enjoy in their adopted homeland and are willing to help but do not know how.Thank you Mr. Pipes for your vigilance and true vision of the dangers radical Islam represents Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
