Further investigations?Reader comment on item: [Abdurahman Alamoudi: A] Slick Islamist Heads to Jail Submitted by Joseph D'Hippolito (United States), Aug 12, 2004 at 21:29 Dear Mr. Pipes:Have you considered the possibility of investigating the head of the Islamic Center in D.C., one Mohammed al-Asr? He is a favorite speaker with various Muslim student organizations and regularly engages in anti-Semitic, anti-American rhetoric. Considering that he supported Khomeini, it would not surprise me that he is on the take from the Iranian government, Hezbollah or some other entity. Also, have you considered investigating the Islamic Human Rights Commission, which is based in London? This group regularly condems "racial profiling," "Islamophobia" and the Israeli stance toward the Palestinians yet says nothing about jihadist terrorism nor the atrocities in the Sudan (in fact, makes excuses for the latter). It would not surprise me that this would be a front group, as well. Please continue your fine work. This country needs you. The West needs you.
