It was a mistake

I think it is a terrible mistake for Israel to pursue the policy of targeted assassination. I believe that the only outcome of these actions is provoking a reaction from the Palestinians to take revenge for the death of their leaders, relatives and friends. The "cycle" of violence is not just an empty word, but it realistically expresses what's going on in the Middle East, namely, a lot of terrorist attacks were made in order to avenge the death of this or that leader of Hamas, Jihad etc.. I'm not saying that they would be completely quiet otherwise, but targeted assassinations give good motivations for further actions. In this way Israel, a democratic state, is playing the same game as terrorists.
