Mr Ibrahim - My response to your ResearchReader comment on item: [The Issue of Compulsion in Religion:] Islam is What Its Followers Make of It Submitted by Gods Son (India), Mar 28, 2010 at 04:26 Mr Ibrahim, I would first like to Thank You for spending so much of time & effort in reading all these Hindu scriptures and posting your opinion here. I am happy to see that you have tried to round up all the aspects of Hinduism & have addressed all the points with your opinion. Even though your intentions were to find mistakes while going through these scriptures, your effort definitely needs to be congratulated! The common problem with all the Muslims today is that they try to pose off that they are very religious and know everything .They also claim that their religion is the best & in an attempt to do this they have become the masters of misinterpreting the message from GOD to suit any situation!! I think one should have the basic qualification to either read/spread the message of GOD & I am sorry to say that most of you don't have this qualification yet & I don't think they should even attempt to do these things. It doesn't really matter if you have read all the scriptures of all the religions, your attempt would become fruitful only if you have the basic "Common Sense" to read and understand GOD's message in a way which GOD wants us to follow. A scenario where people read these scriptures without basic common sense is something similar to "giving a precious diamond to a Monkey!!" The monkey doesn't understand the value of that diamond & obviously plays around with it. You have completely misunderstood the message of GOD and one good example is the "Jihaad" This confusion has killed so many innocent people around the world!! When you are unable to read and understand the scriptures of your own religion, it is not at all surprising to see you getting confused with whatever has been mentioned in the scriptures of the other religions! I would like to answer the central point of your observations related to Ramayana/Rama's life. You mentioned that Rama was fooled by the deer & this gave a chance to Ravana to abduct Sita..So if Rama was GOD , couldn't he identify that the deer was a trick to move him away from Sita?? There are 2 points which I would like to explain – GOD wants to show the correct path to all of his children & to achieve this, he has taken different Avatar's & even has sent many prophets to spread this message. The fundamental understanding of Islam is based on the life of Prophet Mohammed (PBOH). All the muslims believe that he is the role model recommended by Alla himself and they try to imitate the prophet right from the way they should look (Beard, Mustache, Cap etc) to an extent where the Prophet would relieve himself while attending to nature calls with 3 stones and the direction they should face while doing so !!! If Prophet Mohammed(PBUH) can be a role model for the Muslims, cant Rama be the role model for Hindus?? If the intentions are to degrade a particular scripture, it is very easy to come out with questions like " being a messenger of GOD, did Prophet Mohd (PBUH) have to really bother about attending natures call like an ordinary human being ??!! " This is something which I don't intend to do because I understand that all these great men & women had come to the earth with an objective & the objective was to show the way to the humanity & become an example to be followed by others. If Rama, would have identified the deer to be a trick, it wouldn't have gone any further because Ravana wouldn't be able to abduct Sita and probably we wouldn't RAMA for the hardships he had to undergo to get Sita back. I would like to give another example from Christianity. Jesus (PBUH), very well knew that one of his associates (Judas) ,would betray him & in fact , he had mentioned this to his associates before he was captured. We all know about the kind of suffering and torture which he had to undergo. It was such a painful experience for him and if we think that being the messenger of GOD , why couldn't Jesus (PBUH) run away from that place or hide somewhere else ??!! I would consider this nothing but stupidity because if he had run away from that place, we probably wouldn't get the message which he was supposed to convey & his life would have been a waste!! Even though I can respond to all the points you have mentioned about Hinduism, I don't want to consider the other points which you have mentioned because they are either too silly or mean nothing. Please open your eyes and learn to accept all the religions alike, you will surely be enlightened. Regards,
