On the other handReader comment on item: White Elephant in Baghdad Submitted by yuval Brandstetter MD (Israel), Apr 1, 2010 at 14:51 This is the one time I agree withg Barack Hussein Obama. declare victory and leave. Let the Muslims sort themselves out. American presence in Baghdad is irrelevant, once Saddam was removed and his WMD either destroyed or made inoperable there was no need to stay there one moment, far less invest untold billions of Chinese dollars. The evil genie is in Tehran, Isfahan, natanz, Bushheir, and those can be dealt with at a relatively minuscule cost. Problem is, Obama is actually quite fond of the idea of scaring Israel to death with Persian Nukes with a Muslim Millenarian's thunb over the red button. How to solve the problem? Look up Raas and Long, they wrote it up a couple of years ago.
