U.S. Once Again Provokes and Incites Via Appropriation -- And Not Sale By the Iraqi Government & PeopleReader comment on item: White Elephant in Baghdad Submitted by Renee Bouvier (United States), Feb 8, 2012 at 18:49 As you know, the government and people of Saudi Arabian finally managed to dismantle the U.S. military base and reclaim their land and oil. How did this happen? You might recall, the terrorist attack on the U.S. on 9/11. You may argue that it was not the government of Saudi Arabia, who attacked the U.S. on 9/11. Keep arguing. American bankers and industrialists still have the inability to comprehend what happens, when a country shows belligerence toward another country and its people. This embassy is a slap in the face to every Iraqi person. You don't see such embassy structures in the State of Israel, nor will you ever unless you want the Israeli Jews and many American Jews attacking the U.S. This is the Middle East -- not the Caspian Sea region, where people can be easily bought off. The Middle Eastern people -- whether Jewish or Arab -- have a very strong sense of tribe, clan, and land. To those Americans with hubris, how would you like the Iraqis to build a similar structure with just as many people in which the financial district was once located in New York City on the island of Manhattan? Think before you sink, as the French would say. The U.S. is once again saying, "Hit me, hit me, hit me.!" Unfortunately, more than 3,000 Americans were murdered on U.S. soil due to this hubris. Because many Americans are so disillusioned with the state of affairs now in the U.S., many have actually purchased bottles of champagne to open during the next attack on U.S. soil. There's one problem with that: You may be the next victim of any attack on U.S. soil. Wake up America! Stop allowing the bankers and industrialists to determine your fate. For the soldiers, who decided to enlist to be stationed in the middle of the action, so to speak, following orders is not always a patriotric fait accompli. The SS soldiers of the Third Reich were only following orders, when they systematically murdered 6 million Jews. Baruch Hashem that Saddam and his two sons are dead. Now is the time to allow the Iraqi people to express themselves as Iraqi Arabs. You may not like the way the Arab people behave and express themselves, but that's the Middle East. You may think you can change these people's ways, but you can't. Their oil is not your oil. Suppressing their oil output is a malefic enterprise in increasing the price of oil here in the U.S. Myopic greed has a price. Are you willing to pay that price and impose that price on the rest of us? Thank god that Israel has no oil reserves!
