Dr. Pipes Does It Again

Self flagellation never wins wars. Obama bows and scrapes and promises and talks ad nauseum but the Iranian centrifuges keep spinning. The day approaches when the Iranian nuclear missiles will be aimed at the Israelis and at us. And, why not ... what better time than this.

The current occupant of the White House, unlike his war mongering predecessor has but one option ... appeasement because after he bankrupted the US treasury there is nothing left with which to fight a war. The following is no longer true "The United States is "the last great nation in the West." For the time being and maybe forever, the United States is no longer a great nation. The world will have to fight its own battles.

Dr. Pipes astutely points out the following "Europe exonerates itself of crimes against Jews by extolling Palestinians as victims, no matter how viciously they act, and by portraying Israelis as latter-day Nazis, no matter how necessary their self-defense." And in so doing Europe legitimizes the continuance of terrorism, with its suicide bombers, the debasement of women and the enslavement of generations of those whose lives are given over to death. If we had fought together with the Israelis instead of condemning them for defending themselves then maybe the Islamic monster would not now be the scourge of the earth.
