I appreciate your kind words but definitely there are much better commentators on this forum than me .

As to "Americanized Turks, who tend to be a bit more open minded" I welcome their input as long as they are ready to face open doubt and negative evidence which is the only way to achieve verifiable knowledge . Well , it is human to err and I understand it perfectly well . What I do resent is though is not their stories then , but the fact that they will never disclose to you what will happen to those who don't repeat the Turkish stories and accept doubt and negative evidence . The Turks will uniformly deny the Armenian genocide , but will never ever tell you that if they admited it , they would be terrorized and jailed by their beloved Turkish state for up to 4 years . It is how official stories are accepted and popularized in Turkey .

In my own experience it was only one Turk I have ever met who boldly faced the truth and was open-minded enough to admit what sort of stinking fascist jail and cesspool of lies Turkey is . I had never expected such openness from a Turk . Yet , he was no Americanized Turk at all you met but a Turkish communist .
