Faisal's Other Name is LegionReader comment on item: Faisal Shahzad, Jihadi, Explains Terrorism Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jul 19, 2010 at 15:45 There once was an intrigue of history; that for which the photographic record gave the world cause to wonder, yet did not learn: officers and rank and file of the SS consorting with the mufti and mullahs in the Middle East. Strange bedfellows indeed, one might wonder, only peripherally recalling the alliance the Muslim Ottoman Empire had with the Kaiser mere decades earlier. Yet there is no real cause to wonder about such things, for the evidence is empirical; such associations were derived from a common cause, of a common hatred. Faisal Shahzad expresses his contemporary views with millions of likeminded ideologues, that for a brief and mundane moment, we are confronted with a truth that is quite evident, yet so easily dismissed for the want of governmental courage to do one thing, to seek true peace, not appeasement. He also demonstrates another circumstance that seems to be a hard reality few care to approach except in either docile reluctance to face the truth, or in insidious collusion to subvert the truth. What seems to be missed by those who have authority to act in defense of those not willing to be subjugated to the lifestyle that enthralls Shahzad and his ilk is that September 11, 2001 was only a milepost on the road to complete jihad against all who dare to resist. Should there be fear about what Shahzad represents? Only if there is cause to think his mindset could possibly overtake a world that is not theirs to own….and that is the point to make. War for any reason has been the bane of mankind's existence since the first murder, and until the cause for murder is eliminated, wars will continue. Shahzad's hatred is instilled at the very base of his mentality and it will never be satiated, not even if all of his most fervent dreams came true. Further, he has comrades that are already planning their versions of similar attacks, for their hatred cannot be satiated either. When will it stop? That has been offered already, yet the offer is currently rejected. Only until the offer is accepted will the Shahzads of this world be relegated to the darkness from which they came; and the place to accept the offer is in the heart. Then all will understand from where all things will come together in peace, and our attention focused in Jerusalem, the Light on the LORD's hill, the throne of His peace.
