Many Muslims adopt or in any use non-Muslims names to fool others into their "neutrality" of their views or in some cases as an outright cover for terrorism. The recent example of the latter is David Headley alias Daood Sayed Gilani who is one of the important terrorists caught recently. He is part of the group Lashkat Toiba (whch is under the control of the military intelligence ISI of Pakistan) to plan terror atatcks on Mumbai - which killed hundreds of Indians and an American Jewish family) and other places. Just to escape closer scutiny he adopted a Christian name. Jihadis - whether legal variety or terrorist variety - want to go under our security and intellectual radar by adopting non-Muslim names
