Islamists always manage to lose!Reader comment on item: Further Thoughts on Koran Burning Submitted by Rajeev (United States), Sep 24, 2010 at 03:27 Dear Dr Pipes: Who was right or who was wrong does not matter much. Islamists always manage to lose. We all feared that there will be violence in Islamist countries if there is any burning of Quran. Sure enough, even though no quran was actually burned by Terry Jones, at least five people (3 in Afghanistan and 2 in Kashmir) were killed protesting the potential burning of Quran. How much do human beings value life? Look at the lines of patients in the hospitals and look at how hard doctors work day and night to save the lives of these patients. And, then, look at how easily the misguided Islamist leaders manipulate their followers to kill and die. It is not for nothing that most modern societies have learned not to die and kill for religion. We know that the more you die and kill for religions, the more the process repeats. But Islamists do not realize that and their gullible followers follow them dutifully. No matter who is wrong, Islamists manage to lose.
