"Burn the Koran Day" is a very good idea. It has to be done properly.Reader comment on item: Further Thoughts on Koran Burning Submitted by Viiit (Thailand), Oct 12, 2010 at 21:21 It is time for the West to recognize that we are at war with Islam. Not with "Radical Islam", or "Political Islam" but Islam which in itself is both radical and political. The terms "Radical Islam" and "Political Islam" are about is meaningful a "Radical Nazim"s and "Political Nazim". The "Burn the Koran" day has to be organised cleverly. The girl from Seattle that promoted "Draw the Muhammad Day" was told by FBI that her life is in danger and that she needs to move to a different city and change her name. Clearly Muslims are every bit as dangerous as the Nazis were in the early 30s. So the organizer has to stay anonymous and the burners, too, have to be aware of the risks. For example the guy in NYC who burned his Koran on the street got fired from his job. Perhaps we should encourage people to burn the Koran wearing masks, video recording it and posting all over the YouTube. Now of course the dhimmy YouTube, may refuse videos. But perhaps there will be too many to control. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
