Even a **non sequitur** has two sides

Just what Imam Rauf's troubles in residential real estate have to do with the proposed Park51 Islamic Center is something I can't figure out. It's an even wilder leap of logic ( a **non sequitur**-and-a-half) to parallel this with swamp league preacher Terry Jones and his Big Idea, BUT

Having had some personal experience managing buildings with destructive tenants, the kind that sabotage smoke and CO alarms for the salable electronic parts they contain, who have no money to buy furniture and so bring furniture in from the street--with the bedbugs infesting it--who pay rent only when the marshal is at the door to evict them, I can assure you there are two sides to every "slumlord" accusation.

If the city or county government has to pay building owners to house them, the tenants in question are no bargain!
